LANDSCAPE CONSULTANTS GARDEN DESIGNERS SMALL FARM PLANNERS PROJECT MANAGERS Jim Hoskins has 18 years experience as a Landscape Consultant & Garden Designer. Based in Goulburn NSW, his work includes consultations, design commissions, integrated small farm design and project management throughout NSW and the ACT ranging from public landscapes, heritage and small town gardens to large country properties both private and commercial. Specialising in “cool climate gardens” and with great interest in heritage gardens, Jim is a “contemporary Australian designer” combining his technical and practical knowledge and artistic approach to design while understanding the sensitivity of the Australian environment, climate and plant management. With a background in farming and an Associate Diploma in Agriculture & Farm Management, Jim later studied Landscape Design & Horticulture in the UK at the Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew, under the renowned international landscape designer and author “John Brookes”. Jim has also been a State representative of the Australian Garden History Society and a garden selector for the Australian Open Garden Scheme.
