Introducing Flotex Sottsass

Karndean is proud to introduce Flotex Sottsass to its textile floor coverings range. The launch of Flotex Sottsass brings about a whole new unique series of contemporary, daring flooring designs.

Introducing the four new designs of the Sottsass collection:

• Bacteria: optically challenging, this design is open to wide interpretation; close up amoebic forms sway and shift yet from afar it appears as a constellation of distant stars.
• Terazzo: a witty twist on the concept of Italian Terrazzo with the impression of a beautifully laid Mediterranean terrazzo floor.
• Wool Design: plays on the textures of the individual strands of the natural fibres to give a sense of depth and warmth to the floor.
• Kasuri: draws inspiration from the traditional Japanese woven textile technique used to create the eponymous fabric.

The Flotex Sottsass range encompasses all the hardwearing specifications as the existing Flotex range. The Sanitized® backing of Flotex refreshes the anti-microbial performance and with its stain resistant and waterproof and rot proof properties, Flotex is completely washable like a smooth floor covering. Combine these features with its comfortable underfoot and 10 year commercial wear guarantee, Flotex looks and feels like a carpet without many of the practical drawbacks.
