Blum at designEX on Better Homes and Gardens – 20th May, 2011

After successfully bringing colour and function to the forefront at designEX 2011; Blum products will feature on channel seven’s Better Homes and Garden’s, set to air at 7:30pm on Friday, 20th May, 2011.

Applications devoted to the entire home including the kitchen, bathroom, study, home office and entertainment displays showed how to incorporate style, colour and functionality into cabinets. “I felt it showed a variety of ways smart technology can assist with how we live everyday throughout the home, not just in the kitchen. I particularly enjoyed seeing the use of

Blum in the bathroom, home office and living room”, commented Better Homes and Gardens, Interior design expert, Tara Dennis. ”The Blum stand was an excellent representation of their product. It was a great size so people could comfortably move from one area to the next and fully enjoy the individual features on display”.

Innovative products such as the electrical support system for overhead lifts, SERVO-DRIVE for AVENTOS and the option for drawer individualisation with TANDEMBOX intivo amazed visitors. Additionally, TANDEMBOX intivo’s on-line Design Configurator allowed visitors to try out different pattern suggestions for glass and imitation leather in a virtual TANDEMBOX pull-out at myintivo.blum.com.

The new ORGA-LINE film and foil dispensers were also a stand out as Ms Dennis expressed, “I am of course a Blum fan and hope to install all of these features into my new home they just make sense. I loved the ORGA-LINE dispensers - very simple, very clever; a have-to-have item in every kitchen“.
