TurfPave® - Stabilized Turf For Car Parks

The NSW Department of Sport and Recreation selected TurfPave to stabilize 4,500 square metres of overflow car parking area at the Sydney Academy of Sport at Narrabeen NSW.

TurfPave is a lightweight, high strength interlocking plastic module, installed under the turf surface, stabilizing turf, grass and decorative gravel. It offers specifiers and developers a practical cost effective alternative to concrete, bitumen and paved surfaces.

For the car parking area, TurfPave modules were interlocked and positioned on a compacted free draining gravel sub-base. The high strength flexible modules conform to uneven surfaces, and were in-filled with a soil mix and turf rolls then installed.

TurfPave allows large overflow car parking areas to withstand vehicle usage during sports meetings and offers an effective alternative to impermeable asphalt surfaces
