Blum Australia at designEX 2009

Blum Australia again participated in designEX 2009, this exhibition is the leading national forum from which suppliers will exhibit and in some cases launch the latest products in the areas of commercial and residential furniture.

Over the three days, Blum took the opportunity to present its ongoing efforts to perfect motion. Under the motto of "perfecting motion", Blum displayed their portfolio of products for enhanced user convenience in everyday use.

Blum's focused on the following points ;

-    Thanks to its comprehensive TANDEMBOX programme Blum offers a wide range of products to meet every demand and suit every taste. The extended programme excels in terms of diversity and scope for differentiation and storage solutions through the ORGA-LINE range.

-    Blum also offers an entire programme of lift systems (AVENTOS) consisting of the bi-fold lift, up and over lift, lift up and stay lift, which means it has a lift system for every application.

-    Handle-free furniture is still all the trend. And here again Blum offers its customers a complete programme with "Tip-on", a mechanical opening system for pull-outs, doors and lift systems being released late 2009 and "Servo-Drive", an electric opening system for pull-outs which was released in 2008.



-    As always the stand featured Blum's kitchen planning concept, DYNAMIC SPACE. To support this subject, Blum recently appointed a marketing specialist in Ms.Michelle Sung to focus on this initiative and will work with the Australian market to show what the added value of "Dynamic Space" is for Blum's customers and how they can successfully use the concept.

"The show was a huge success for Blum, our focus this year was to ensure we showed our product in various applications, not just kitchens. Our visitors got the chance to see our products such as TANDEMBOX, TANDEM for wood and AVENTOS feature in not only the Galley kitchen, but also our Home Entertainment, Vanity, Home office and Wardrobe displays" said David Noakes, National Sales and Marketing Manager.
