Blum offers new runner carrying capacity

In addition to existing drawer runners (for 30, 50 and 80 kg), a new 65-kg model is now available to meet the current design trend towards wide cabinets.

Drawers and pull-outs come in all shapes and sizes. But with a wide range of runner systems at your fingertips, you will certainly find a solution to every application. Thanks to the different load carrying capacities of runners, drawers and pull-outs can be tailored to the weight of their contents.


Solution for greater loads
You can fit a great deal into wide and deep pull-outs. That is why they must be designed for heavy loads. In addition, they must be safe and run smoothly - even when full. To meet these requirements, Blum developed "Tandembox" runners with dynamic carrying capacities of 30, 50 and 80 kg. Now, Blum has come up with a new 65-kg model. The "Tandembox 65 kg" runner system has been adapted to the current drawer side programme. It is fully compatible and therefore simple to mount.

TANDEM inside
An important component of "Tandembox" is the "Tandem" runner system which excels in terms of lateral stability and running action. In addition, it is maintenance-free and produces no metal abrasion. Loads are separated into horizontal and vertical forces which are directed over durable nylon rollers to the cabinet. The "Tandembox" full extension has a feather-light glide. An integrated control system ensures that transitions are smooth and the running action is easy. Combined with full extension, the "Tandembox" pull-out system gives users full view of and full access to items stored at the very back of drawers. Every inch of storage space can be put to optimal use, promoting the ergonomic use of kitchens.
