Having directed their recent attentions to reviving the very heart of the kitchen – the oven – Gaggenau are proud to present a stunning new collection which sets a new benchmark for cooking technology.
The new 200 Series of ovens and steam ovens invites the aspirations of the professional kitchen into the home and delivers a revolutionary combination of form and function to meet the most exacting professional demands. In a complete reinterpretation of oven operation, the new Gaggenau ovens push the boundaries of innovation whilst retaining the high degree of simplicity synonymous with sophisticated Gaggenau design.
“Less is more” is the design keynote for the collection; ovens appear more streamlined, more elementary and even more sophisticated than their predecessors. An entirely new, patented control module replaces the panel of sturdy control knobs of the 2005 collection. Six years in the making, the minimalist control module combines functionality and intuitive operability with the hallmark design principles of Gaggenau. Integrated into the (quadruple glazed) doors, the operating module makes an unusual and striking visual feature inspiring confidence and pleasing the eye. Who would have dreamt that an oven could be so stylish?
Demonstrating their capabilities from the outside, the new ovens also boast large, side-hinged glass doors which open over the full height of the appliance and comprise toughened glass with aluminium backing. In addition to the standard width of 60cm for installation in fitted units, the new ovens are also available in a width of 76cm. Despite a volume of 103 litres, which makes them the largest in their class, these large-format models still look supremely natural and elegant. Possibilities for horizontal and vertical functional and design options are extended, allowing increased customisation within the kitchen.
The new 200 Series introduces the new face of Global Oven Gaggenau (GOG) to Australia and attests to the pioneering manufacturer’s expertise in translating professional culinary technology into sophisticated home kitchen solutions.

COMBI-STEAM OVENS
The ultimate in modern cooking technology, Gaggenau’s new Combi-Steam ovens feature the best and most gentle cooking method: steam without pressure. Combined with hot air, all kinds of possibilities are presented: combi-steaming, baking, refining, braising – the list goes on. A fixed water connection ensures unlimited water supply and cooking time.
