IO Metal Fabrics

Sun Protection with Stainless Steel Wire Mesh

Due to their multiple functional and aesthetic qualities iO metallic fabrics are suitable for various applications in architecture and interior design: facades, claddings, balustrades, sun screens and ceilings.

Mechanical strength, corrosion resistance and non-combustibility are basic properties of all iO stainless steel meshes. Due to special cleansing and manufacturing procedures these metal fabrics have a reflective, shiny and homogenous surface.

The mechanical stability of wire mesh allows the set up in large panels. To shield sun light sufficiently the open area of a mesh should be about 50 %.
