Condor Ventilation

The roof ventilators used on the Redcliffe Library project are the Condor Kinetic type Vortex 700 Series with matching Air Flow Controllers, using 240v electrical actuators.
Condor units were chosen due to their motionless high performance capabilities in high humidity tropical zones.

The motionless design of the Condor systems uses kinetic energy as the medium controlling the velocity of airflow through the building. In other words, the heatload in the building determines the speed of the air that moves out of the building.

Condor systems are designed to be an integral part of the roofing system and not an afterthought. This coupled with the maintenance free design of the Condor Systems is the reason why today's high-end architects are using Condor equipment.
