The Solarspace glazing system incorporating Danpalon gives thermal performance that is superior to that of conventional structures, reducing heat transfer through a building envelope and maintaining sufficient light.
The system provides a positive mechanical lock between the sheets while still allowing freedom of movement, a crucial factor in ensuring long life. The connection system can be internal or external so all you see on one side is a shadow line at the joins. Typical roof structure or wall framing can be reduced, if not eliminated. The need for screw fixings through the sheeting is eliminated which gives a clean, uninterrupted appearance.
