Recofloor
As one of the two founders of Recoflor, Polyflor is now bring vinyl back. With a collection system that recycles used and unwanted vinyl flooring, Recoflor follows on the success of the Waste and Resources Action Program. As vinyl becomes more popular less is going into landfill. The company also collect offcuts which aren't often used again. Between 2009 and 2011 in Australia and New Zealand around 31 tonnes of safety and smooth vinyl flooring was recycled and now have an aim of 100 tonnes. The recycled vinyl is uplifted and used again or downcycled becoming traffic cones, road barrier bases or similar products.
