AHD was established in 1986 as part of the Sarah Group. From humble beginnings, AHD has grown to be the “Builder’s choice” of timber door, fire door and hardware supply.

AHD manufactures fully customised quality doors to QHSE Code: 2007 Certification.

This includes Fire Doors, Acoustic Doors and doors with FSC Chain of Custody.

In 2009 AHD became the first architectural door manufacturer in South Australia to obtain international certification from the Forest Stewardship Council(FSC).

AHD can supply FSC Timber certified Doors for both residential and commercial projects.

Our FSC Chain of Custody (COC) certification means that timber used in the production of FSC labelled commercial and residential doors is guaranteed to have been sourced in forests which are managed according to a strict set of environmental, social and economic standards, recognised worldwide and or from non-controversial sources.

AHD can manufacture & supply FSC certified timber products for GreenStar rated projects. For a timber product to receive points under the GreenStar rating tool a full Chain of Custody (COC) must exist.
