A-bus
Home-grown Aussie technology, A-BUS is multi-room audio utilising structured cabling distributing music (from iPods, CDs, DVDs) and video throughout every room of the house.
This Australian born technology has become an industry standard in the United States, with brand giants such as Russound, Channel Vision, Harmon Kardon, Honeywell, utilising A-BUS technology to market multi-room audio systems to America
A-BUS centrally controls the dispersion of music throughout the home. This means that a CD playing on the family hi-fi system can be heard in the bathroom, bedroom, kitchen or even the outdoor entertaining areas, without disturbing family members watching television in the room containing the CD player.
A simple 8-core cable runs between each room within the cavity of the walls. A discreet volume or volume plus Infra Red (IR) controller is installed in each room which can be activated manually, or via remote control (on IR equipped models) enabling volume control or the selection of new audio sources without leaving the comfort of your bed or lounge.
