From humble beginnings in 1982, Acoustica® has become a leader in innovative, cost-effective sound control. In 1991 Acoustica® introduced polyester sound and thermal insulating materials to Australia, revolutionising the industry and overcoming the health and recycling issues associated with products in the existing market. By 2005, Acoustica® was being handed the Excellence in Innovation Award for Outstanding Innovation for their new plasterboard wall system. In 2007 Acoustica® wins the Anthill Innovation Award once again for the Quietwave® wall system and were finalists in several other awards Acoustica® has been applied industrially in Qantas workshops and Boral Brickworks; commercially for AMEX and CommBank; in community facilities such as Taronga Park Zoo; and in numerous hospitality venues, as well as apartment buildings and homes throughout Australia, NZ and the Middle East.
