Genesy lamp by Zaha Hadid for Artemide

Genesy lamp by Zaha Hadid for Artemide
You no longer have to hit the design blogs to catch a glimpse of Zaha Hadid’s latest architectural feat, thanks to Artemide you can now own your own Zaha masterpiece. The starchitect teamed up with Patrik Schumacher for the creation of the alluring Genesy lamp. Featuring those sinuous fluid forms that Zaha is famous for, Genesy is an abstract floor lamp made of injection-moulded foam polyurethane with a structure that becomes increasingly complex as it rises from the base like a growing organism or tree. Functionality wise, the lamp uses direct LED and indirect light (halogen or fluorescent) managed by two touchpad dimmers to illuminate your space to your desire. This futuristic lamp is perfect for lovers of all things ultra mod.
