Stormtech specialises in narrow stainless steel trench drainage solutions for a variety of exterior and interior applications, such as paved areas, courtyards, pool surrounds, balconies, bathrooms, showers and other wet areas.

In outdoor and paved areas the architectural quality finish and extremely narrow profile minimise the impact of drainage in these areas, as a unique high efficiency drainage system removes more surface water than traditional methods.

In pool areas the designer finish blends with surrounds whilst having

maximum efficiency.

In Pedestrian and vehicle traffic areas the narrow profile and high efficiency create an aesthetically pleasing solution to the traditional ‘grated drain’ across areas of traffic with loadings suitable up to Class C or Double B.

In bathrooms and showers the use of lineal drains allow the use of larger tiles and gives more design flexibility to integrate features such as hobless or frameless showers.

The company’s leading products used in landscaping projects are the 65AG100 and 38AG90 of the Special Assembly range. They are narrow profile, high capacity drainage systems that allow flexibility in landscaping design and construction. This patented manifold drainage system reduces the need for traditional wider grating. It is composed of a PVC channel with outlets every 200mm connected via

downpipes to corresponding sockets in the pipe below. This allows the channel to be installed level while the pipe is given sufficient fall to be self-cleaning. The Special Assembly is then completed with a stylish slimline stainless steel grate.

Very popular with wet-edge or infinity pool designs, the Special Assembly is also used as accessory drainage within or around the coping to help protect garden and grass areas from contamination by pool water or to reduce the impact of stormwater into the pool water system.

In recognition of this innovative product, Stormtech was awarded a DesignMark at the 2004 Australian Design Awards.
