Glosswood lining boards are made from Paulownia, an extremely fast-growing hardwood tree grown in plantations. The timber is incredibly lightweight in nature, at 3.3kg per sqm, which is approximately half the weight of plasterboard. This hardwood is also remarkably stable due to low expansion and contraction factors plus is highly rot resistant and not attractive to termites.

Glosswood has developed a water based UV coating process that enhances the beautiful grain properties of the timber. UV coating has many advantages, such as low VOCs, a superior and durable finish and most importantly, colour consistency.

Applications suit residential or commercial indoor feature walls and ceilings or exterior under cover ceilings. Quick and easy to install, these labour-saving pre-finished lining boards require no sanding or varnishing, and offer consistent colour and quality. In an era when environmental concerns and a shortage of skilled labour are impacting on design choices, Glosswood offers an attractive, sustainable alternative.

The Glosswood lining board range is available in 100mm and 150mm widths, in five distinctive colours of Cedar, Jarrah, Beech, Tasmanian Oak and White, complete with matching trims and mouldings. The mouldings are colour-matched to boards, in Quad, Cover Strip, Lambs Tongue, and Splayed Skirting. All products within this range are provided in set lengths.
