AcoustiShield from Lafarge Plasterboard

Since 2003, Lafarge Plasterboard’s AcoustiShield has been specified by architects and interior designers for ceiling linings in education, health, retail and entertainment buildings. AcoustiShield is the only perforated plasterboard, available in the Australian market, to achieve a Noise Reduction Coefficient (NRC) of 0.85 when used in a 100mm plenum. It has a protective fibreglass mat which as well as contributing to the NRC, has the additional benefit of maintaining a healthy environment by preventing dust and fibre emissions.
