The Hurricane™ Turbine Ventilator

Through removing heat, odours, chemical vapours and condensation, Edmonds Hurricane Turbine ventilators provide an efficient, healthier and cost effective natural ventilation system.

The Edmonds Hurricane Turbine ventilator is the only industrial turbine ventilator using patented vertical vane technology, and has been independently tested for wind speeds of up to 240 km/hour. Manufactured from corrosion resistant aluminium, the Edmonds Hurricane utilises the fully sealed Tandaco bearing system for superior starting torque in low breezes. The vari-pitch throat design allows the Hurricane throat to be rotated to align with the roof pitch.

Hurricanes harness naturally occurring stack effects and wind energy to increase their air flow rate. Producing constant fresh air circulation through buildings, Hurricanes continually remove air impurities for a healthier working environment.

Used in over 20 countries, Edmonds Hurricane has been successfully installed at schools, warehouses, steel mills, paper mills, chemical plants and many other building typologies. The world’s largest Hurricane installation consists of 425 H900mm vents on the Toyota spare parts plant at Muscat, Oman.
