Revolution XP from Invisible Heating Systems is a highly efficient radiant heating system, using the same action as the sun to gently warm the surfaces of a room.

The system uses low temperature carbon-impregnated polycarbonate heating film, installed in the ceiling between the plasterboard and the insulation, or under floating timber flooring. The film converts 100% of electricity input into low intensity radiant heatwaves. Radiant heatwaves do not heat the air, they pass through it, attracted to cold surfaces and reradiated to other colder surfaces. This natural balancing and rebalancing produces an even, comfortable temperature without emissions, draughts, the disturbance of dust, condensation, or the drying out or humidification of the air.

The inefficiency of fan forced heating, which can cause all of these problems, lies in its irregular circulation of heated air, inevitably drawn to the ceiling and bloating in pockets throughout the room. The Revolution XP system does not rely on air circulation. It does not require pipes, chimneys, vents, fuel storage tanks or appliances. Hot air ducts, hot surfaces or flames, with risk of accident or injury, are not needed. Rather, Revolution XP operates with low surface temperatures, with a maximum of 43°C. It has no moving parts, and so is maintenance free. Completely hidden within a building’s structure, it is quick and economical to install.

Slab heating looses up to 40% of heat energy by conduction through the ground; likewise hydronic heating can loose 35% of heat energy through heat transfer from the gas to the water, to the radiant panel, and then to the room. Without these causes of heat loss and irregularities, Revolution XP can reduce overall energy bills by 40%. Furthermore, utilising state of the art building technology, individual rooms can be precisely controlled for the greatest level of efficiency. The system quickly responds to temperature change. Sensors send data to electronic units in each zone to provide temperature stability to within 0.5°C. Daily and weekly programming ensure that heating is only used when required. The system is custom designed to the exact requirements of a space using computerised heat loss modelling and running cost analysis.
