For over 50 years James Richardson Corporation has imported a selection of Europe’s finest furniture. James Richardson has recently introduced a new textile division which is made up of the James Richardson Collection Fabrics, together with exclusive distribution of Gabriel Fabrics from Denmark and Bute Wools from Scotland. Our vision is to be the preferred partner for and supplier to leading manufacturers of furniture, seating and upholster services.
The JR Weave Collection provides quality fabrics including wools, blends and vinyls, Crypton® moisture, odour, bacteria and stain resistant fabrics, and natural fibres, designed to meet individual design needs and delivery date requirements. They are sourced from local and international mills and the majority are stocked to ensure prompt delivery.
February 2006 will see the launch of 15 new ranges into the James Richardson Collections. They include new vinyls, blends and a vibrant collection of non-absorbent Cryptons® which are suitable for hospitality, health care and aged care. The ranges have been tested, and most are suitable for heavy commercial environments with the Movida range achieving over 100 000 martindales.
Colin Hirschman, General Manager of JR Weave, says, “JR Weave will be broadening our supply chain and sourcing new fabrics from all over the world, including the Netherlands, Spain, Germany, USA, Portugal and Turkey. We will be launching a new Crypton® range, and extending our vinyl range with an emphasis on fire retardancy. There will be a new range of medium priced coordinated upholstery ranges that can cross between architects and specifiers to manufacturers and retailers.”
