Westpac's 77,000m2 new headquarters is being built by Leighton Contractors with state of the art Fricker Ceiling Systems, fusing a greener, more comfortable office space with leading edge technology. Fricker, in conjunction with the construction project team, designed and supplied nine different ceiling systems ranging from off-the-shelf to custom built systems tailor-made for Westpac.

Perforated metal ceiling tiles used on the distinctive client floors transition seamlessly to the highly sought after Solaton mineral fibre ceiling tiles with the patented Enet feature used in the general office areas. Over 60,000m2 of the Solaton Enet mineral fibre tiles are being installed in this landmark building ensuring maximum performance for Westpac's wireless network environment.

The Fricker Two Way Access Modular Grid System installed throughout the general office areas integrates seamlessly with the Fricker profiled linear diffuser and blind boxes encircling each floor and ensuring flexibility to evolve from one system type to another. The design of the profiled linear diffuser and blind box arrangement was specially developed in conjunction with Leighton Contractors to enable the innovative ventilated façade system to function correctly.

In specific areas such as the dealing floor, client meeting rooms, forum and bridging areas Fricker raised the bar again with its ability to provide Westpac with new systems that are unsurpassed in office developments in Australia by providing high quality sustainable materials, advanced manufacturing processes and an extensive range of colours.
