The Converse Chair

Slorach Designs specialise in curved plywood, and their curved plywood chairs, manufactured at an ultra-modern manufacturing plant in Carrum Downs in Victoria, are a best-selling favourite shipped all over Australia.

Although all their chairs are manufactured to the same high standard, by far the biggest selling design is the Converse chair, which has received three level six ratings in strength and durability during testing by the Australian Furniture Research Development Institute. The Converse, like all Slorach Designs chairs, is made from 100% Australian regrowth plantation timber, making it environmentally sensitive.

The chairs have a wide variety of applications, in aged care facilities, restaurants, libraries, clubs, hotels and auditoriums.
