Technically, spectral selectivity is an extension of Luminous Efficacy, which is the ratio of glazing’s Visible Light Transmission to its Shading Coefficient. A Luminous Efficacy greater than 1.00 is considered spectrally selective. LX70’s VLT of 72% coupled with its 0.52 Shading Coefficient provides a spectral selectivity of 1.39.
